Decadeck is a free multiplayer card game. We collect the bare minimum needed to seat you at a table and run a round. No accounts, no ads, no tracking.
identify scope only. We cannot read your messages, DMs, server list, email or voice. The Discord access token lives in the tab’s memory for the session only. It is never written to disk, cookies or localStorage.
No ads, no third-party analytics, no tracking cookies, no device fingerprinting. We never sell, rent or trade anyone’s data.
rook:identity (localStorage) — nickname, room code and player ID, so you can retake your seat after a dropped connection.rook:muted (localStorage) — your sound preference.rook:tutorial (localStorage) — whether you have already seen the How to Play walkthrough.rook:activity (sessionStorage) — a flag that this tab is running inside Discord. These keys keep the rook: prefix from the game’s original name so that existing players are not signed out by the rename. You can clear all of them at any time from your browser settings.
Room state lives in server memory and, in production, is mirrored to Redis on our own VPS so a game survives a server restart. That copy holds the room’s contents: nicknames, participants’ Discord IDs and avatar URLs, cards, and room chat.
The room and its copy are deleted as soon as the last human player leaves or drops. Nothing is archived afterwards — no profiles, no match history.
The server writes short technical logs (timestamps and error types) for debugging. They are not used to profile users.
No other third-party service receives data from Decadeck.
Decadeck follows Discord’s terms: you must be at least 13, or the minimum age in your country if that is higher.
Because we keep no accounts, leaving the room is enough to erase your data. If you would still like deletion confirmed, or want to ask what is held, email [email protected] and we will answer as best we can.
If this policy changes, the “last updated” date above changes with it.
